6th Grade Mathematics
Welcome to the 6th grade math program! Here are a few things that you will need to keep in mind throughout the year:
Textbooks:
Mrs. Gallagher has issued textbooks to each student this year. The books are consumable and should be kept at home. You may also access textbooks online. The textbooks are meant to be a resource for families at home. When we need the books for a lesson, students will be assigned the pages to bring in for the lesson.
To access the online text book--
Go to https://my.hrw.com/sp/access?sp=hrw&connection=MD-FCPS-00456966
Log in to the site by entering your username (this is the same as your school login)
and your password (your student ID number)
For instance: if your name is Johnny Appleseed born in 2004, your user name is 04jappleseed
Grades:
I update grades at least once a week, usually on Friday. Please check TAC over the weekend and bring any discrepancies to my attention on Monday. Please keep in mind that if a grade is BLANK that means that this grade has not been entered yet, and does not necessarily mean that the assignment is missing for your student.
