DKCs: What You Need to Know
1. As stated in the syllabus, DKCs (formerly SBAs) make up 90% of a student's grade (in the "Demonstrates Knowledge of Content" category). The overall grade is mostly reflective of these assessments because the grades earned on each of them reflect the student's understanding of each standard.
2. Assessment grades in HAC reflect if a re-take has been completed. For example, 75.1 shows that a student has completed a re-take because there is a .1 attached. The 75 would be the grade received on the re-take, which replaces the original grade completely. The two grades are not averaged.
3. The students may complete a re-take on each assessment after fulfilling the following requirements:
4. To complete assessment corrections, a student must identify his/her error for each incorrect question and re-answer each of the questions correctly. This can be completed via one of the following options:
Students should NOT change any original answers.
